My short review of an online shop

Sometimes I even measure an existing frame with a ruler before ordering anything new. Recently I have been testing several online eyewear shops to compare frames and lenses. Shipping speed is not everything, but extremely slow delivery is very annoying. Metal can feel more premium, but acetate can be more comfortable for long wear. If you sit in front of a screen for many hours, these small features make a difference.

At least here we can see more honest opinions and not only polished marketing content. When I test a new shop I usually start with one or two items instead of a huge order. The main things I look at for glasses are frame weight, hinge quality and lens coating. Bad lenses can cause eye strain, reflections and headache when you wear them for hours. Very thin fabric may be fine for summer but often looks cheap and becomes see through. I try to balance my budget between basic everyday items and a few special pieces.
